Howdy everyone!
Cotton harvest is wrapping up and temperatures are beginning to cool down slightly in the Upper Gulf Coast area.
The results of the Wharton corn variety trials are available. Due to optimal pollination weather at tasseling this year, corn yields hit record highs throughout Texas. Additionally, test weights were recorded at higher than average levels.
The results of the Rosenburg grain sorghum hybrid trials are available.
Yields highlighted in yellow are not significantly different (L.S.D., p=0.05) from the top ranked hybrid.
